Ceramic Buttons a collaboration with Tolemaide - Italy

Located in a XVIII century farm house near Bologna, Italy, Ethel Norcia has been designing and creating handcrafted jewelry for her celebrated brand,  since 2001.  Each finished piece reflects inspiration taken from Ethel’s fine artisanal background.

Thanks to our exclusive collaboration, Studio Carta is proud to introduce you to Tolemaide’s distinct tinted ceramic buttons in our curated color palette. Transformed beautifully via a two stage firing process, each clay button is shaped and glazed entirely by the artist’s hand out of her workshop in Italy.  Each set of six ceramic buttons is hand stitched with thread and needle onto cardboard backing.

Tolemaide ceramic buttons are distributed solely by Studio Carta, USA for the local and international market.
